This focused, one-day event will bring together engineers, innovators, and industry leaders to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming every stage of electronics manufacturing, from smarter PCB design to AI-driven fabrication and automated assembly.
The symposium follows a single-track format that connects the full lifecycle of a printed circuit board (PCB) through real-world insights, case studies, and practical applications of AI in electronics manufacturing.
This year’s topics include smarter PCB design, data-driven fabrication, AI-powered assembly and inspection, and emerging innovations like predictive maintenance and workforce automation. Attendees will benefit from expert panels, interactive discussions, and networking opportunities designed to spark collaboration across the global electronics supply chain.
As part of the symposium, SMTA and the City of Avondale have partnered with Estrella Mountain Community College, the University of Advancing Technology, and the Artificial Intelligence Venture Network (AIVN) to launch a Student Technology Challenge.
This AI pitch competition invites student teams to design and propose AI-powered solutions to real-world manufacturing problems – no hardware or lab equipment required. Finalist teams will present their ideas live at the symposium before a panel of expert judges. A cash prize will be awarded to the winning team.
